Outdoor Play & Inclement Weather Policy

 Within ‘normal’ temperatures of -20oC to 29oC, the children will have 2 hours of *scheduled* outdoor play time, divided into one morning session and one afternoon session.

Actual temperatures, wind chill factors, icy conditions, shade, availability of water play, humidity factors and UV Ratings or Weather Advisories will be considered to determine times for outdoor play and length of outdoor play times. These factors will be determined daily or as needed. The length of outdoor play time may be decreased or eliminated in the event of inclement weather.
